Proxy for Wget

With the interactive download manager, users download Internet content by specifying scripts and algorithms. The type of proxy will depend on the nature of the information.

If maximum anonymity is required, private SOCKS4/5 and IPv6 proxies with HTTPS support are set up. They provide a stable connection through a dedicated channel. The base server through which the traffic passes is responsible for data privacy. In case of a hacker attack, it repels the hacking attempt, the connection is redirected through another gateway.

Shared proxy - slower, does not support pinging, but does the job just as well. For freely accessible content, server proxies are fine. These are hostings with medium anonymity and a specific network fingerprint indicating IP and geolocation masking. Such servers are blocked more often, but it does not affect the task. If necessary, the user purchases a new packet of virtual addresses and continues to download.

With fully anonymous private proxies, the fingerprint matches the network fingerprint of web users. When connecting via mobile IP, the network address of the smartphone/tablet (Internet Service Provider) is displayed. And when connecting through resident proxies, the address of the home Wi-Fi network, i.e. the stationary device, is sent in the header line.

The difference between shared and private proxy when using Wget is as follows. Public IPs are unstable and are more likely to be put on stop lists. Private hosts bypass web protection sites without getting banned. If the content is downloaded periodically, a shared proxy list is activated. When direct access to downloading is closed, you need to bypass the site computing algorithms and set up private IP - IPv4 and IPv6 with support for TCP/IP encryption.
